The Viking experience
A Viking journey, Bangkok style
This is not just a party. From the moment the gates open at Bangkok Island Pier, you are part of a crew: a treasure hunt and beach games on the pier, a Viking feast as the sun goes down, and then the longship sets off for three hours on the Chao Phraya, with the city lights going by and a DJ party on the rooftop deck.
Expect community, competition, laughter and controlled Viking chaos, all in a safe and well-organised setup. Members of the Thai-Nordic Association, friends of the Nordics and curious newcomers are all welcome on board.
In 2026 the first voyage sold out at 103 Vikings, more than half of them at their first TNA event. For 2027 we take over the whole boat and the pier, so the games, the feast and the bar are all ours.

A treasure hunt and beach games at the pier and the front deck. Teams, challenges and tug of war, with new games for 2027 and prizes at the Blessing of Odin.
The Great Viking Feast
Served on the pier at 19:00 before boarding, so you sail on a full stomach. A Viking feast, Bangkok style.
Exclusive beer and the finest cocktails
Our own bar on board. Pay as you go, or go Free Flow with the wristband and drink all night, from the welcome drink to the last song.
DJ party on the rooftop deck
The music moves upstairs this year. The rooftop deck becomes the dance floor as the skyline slides past.
Three hours on the Chao Phraya
The longship casts off at 20:00 and docks again at 23:00. Bridges, temples and the night skyline from the river.
Dress like a Viking
Helmets, shields, capes, Nordic symbols, or simply something festive. No rules, but maximum respect for those who go all in.

Dinner is served on the pier as the sun goes down.

The voyage begins
All aboard. The bar opens and the longship sets off for three hours on the river.

Prizes from the stage, then the deck becomes the dance floor until we dock.

Back at the pier
The longship docks. Same time next year.
Times may shift a little with river traffic. Ambassadors and the TNA crew keep everyone on course.

Questions, answered
Do I need to be a member to attend?
No. Friends of the Nordics are always welcome. Members enjoy a reduced ticket price, so if you attend often it is worth joining the Association first.
Are drinks included in the ticket?
No. You pay as you go at the bar, or you add the Free Flow wristband when you book for THB 499 per guest (THB 699 at the door) and drink all night: exclusive beer and the finest cocktails.
What should I wear?
Viking, if you dare: helmets, shields, capes and Nordic symbols. Otherwise something festive and comfortable for an evening on the water. Flat shoes are a good idea on the deck.
Can I book for a group?
Yes. Choose the number of tickets when you book and add the names of your guests, and tell us who you would like on your treasure hunt team. Only the person booking needs to be a member to get the member price for the whole booking.
How do I get there?
We meet at Bangkok Island Pier. Full directions and a map link are in your confirmation email, and the pier is easy to reach by taxi or Grab. The boat returns to the same pier at 23:00.
What if the party cannot go ahead?
If we ever had to cancel the voyage, every ticket and wristband would be refunded in full. Tickets are otherwise non-refundable, but you can pass yours to a friend: just email board@tna.or.th with the new name.
When do tickets sell out?
The first voyage sold out at 103 guests. Super Early Bird opens 1 November and prices rise on 1 January and 1 February, so book early for the best price and a guaranteed spot.
