Dear Members and Friends
We are approaching Christmas 2021, and a time when we will hopefully have more normal conditions in Thailand.
The board Scandinavian Society Siam had after a long break our first physical meeting “Mortens Aften” on November 10, where we discussed future plans for events, golf, and collaboration with other Nordic groups.
We welcome The football team Scandinavian Vikings to the fold, and look forward to a fruitful collaboration with both renewal and rejuvenation of our all-time official Scandinavian Society Siam.
At the same time, we encourage others, with Nordic relations, to come up with new initiatives for activities in Thailand. The board sees plenty of opportunities. The idea is that the members from the various activities will have the opportunity to run the “new activities” under the Scandinavian Society Siam as an official umbrella association.
As you know, we already collaborate with the 4 Nordic Trade Associations, other Nordic societies, and churches, on social events, where we collaborate to form a Nordic network with both professional and non-professional actors.
We call it a partnering or co-branded event, where members of the collaborating organizations are offered tickets to member prices
In the next month and a half, there are 4 events that should interest most of us:
November 25: Business Networking TSCC
December 9: DTCC Re-Union – Meet The Danish Export Association And The DASN
December 11: Christmas Lunch TSCC
December 24: We ring the Christmas Bell with the Nordic Christmas Service and “Gløg & Æbleskiver”
