6-Sep-2020 TNGS SSS Payment & Account Policies

Below is short explanation and Q&A concerning most common questions regarding SSS/ TNGS Payment & Account Policies

Those of you who signed up for 2nd Tournament of 2020/20221 season ( The Danish Bakery Cup 2020)  have noticed you received an invoice for Green Fee and Caddy Fee. We are doing this to help you know exactly what you must pay and to ensure you that your registration is confirmed.

The system with using Satang is implemented to help SSS to easily track the correct payment as the payments are tracked in SSS accounting system to ensure daily visibility for all SSS Board members as well as TNGS Captains.

Please note to be a confirmed player at an event, payments must be received 5 days in advance. This is also stated in the event invitation on the website.

Frequent Q & A

Q:

Why do we have to pay in advance, in the old days we paid in cash at arrival?

A:

TNGS have to confirm the number of players to the Golf courses and in some cases pay a deposit, we do not think it is fair that the organizers is reliable for No show as the organizers are Volunteers and  SSS/TNGS is a Non-Profit organization

Q:

Can I cancel and get my money refunded?

A:

Yes, if you cancel 5 days before, after that it is by discretion of TNGS and organizers.

Q:

What happens if the event is canceled by TNGS organizers?

A:

The money will be return if the event is cancelled by TNGS organizers

Q:

Will I get my money back if it is raining at the day of the event?

A:

Each Golf course have different policies, we will aim to include in Invitations so that you are informed before signing up.

You might have noticed that this year we do not charge a Golf section membership fee, the reason is we try to run it as event-based society and each event should break even. We do no longer provide the service to register, upload and pay TGA as it is simply too much work for volunteers on top of organizing, updating websites etc.

We do add 2-300 Baht per member player at each event to cover expenses such as printing score cards, Technical prizes, special prizes, banners etc.

We aim to find section sponsors for funding the operation of the section, software etc, but that is work in progress hence we have indicated a membership Fee for 2021/2022 season to be 1,200 Baht the number is not final and not decided yet.

Please note the first year this is sponsored.

Frequent Q & A
