Over 200 members and friends attended the Thai-Nordic Association’s Crayfish Party 2023 at The Landmark Ballroom in Bangkok on Saturday, September 16th. What a fantastic evening!
Chef Philippe Gaudal of The Landmark and his team cooked 250 kg crayfish the traditional Swedish way and offered other classics with a twist, like a deconstructed toast skagen and mini versions of princess cake. Of course, there was kaviar for the bread and crispbread and akvavit to wash it down while singing snapsvisor.
Following up on the crayfish, there was a surprise for the already-happy guests when the well-known “farang who sings in Thai,” Jonas Anderson, got up on stage and sang some of his classic lookthung songs (Thank you, Jonas!). The dancefloor quickly filled up with dance-eager guests.
Bangkok Vodka’s mixologists had created a unique cocktail menu for the evening featuring Montagé Andaman Gourmet Salt and CoffeeWORKS coffee. The CoffeeWORKS team also served guests energy boosters with its nitro cold brew coffee cocktails. At every guest’s seat, there was also a jar of gourmet salt to take home.
Montagé also brought the creative masterminds behind Turquoise Truck to shoot some photos and videos of the new cocktail creations. The guys also made a crayfish party reel for us (Thanks guys!).

The income from the lucky draw helps fund the Thai-Nordic Association’s events until the next Crayfish Party.
