Dear members,

At the AGM in April 2013 we asked members to suggest activities they might be interested in. One of the suggestions was an introduction to golf for those members who do not play golf.

The SSS Golf Section therefore invites all those who may be interested in learning more about the game and what it is that makes so many men and women chase a little ball for hours across a grass field, to which will take place on Sunday 8th December 2013 at Thana City Golf Club at Bangna-Trat Road, km 14. The golfers will start their competition around 12, and the activities for non-golfers will be from 14 to 16. There will be one or two golf pros, golf clubs and balls available for the non-golfers to learn how to swing the club and hit some balls. The non-golfers will then meet up with the golfers as they approach the last green.

After the golf we will meet up at Admiral’s @ 24 in Sukhumvit Soi 24 (Oakwood Residence) around 6 pm for a Christmas inspired dinner and prize ceremony starting at 7 pm. Thanks to generous support from Admiral’s @ 24 the price for non-golfers will be only 1,000 Baht and 500 Baht for children, including dinner and free flow of beer, wine and soft drinks.

There is no transportation provided, so if you don’t have a car, get a lift with a friend or take a taxi. Anything more you need to know please feel very free to mail or call.
